To be stylish: According to all KPIs, 2017 was a very successful year for us.
In terms of revenue (which is one of the most important, though not the most important measure for us), we grew by more than 66% compared to last year and we have been producing the best year of all time. In terms of profitability the situation is even better, and no, this is not our most important KPI.
For this success, first of all we would like to thank to all our loyal customers, with whom we have been working together for many years and to our new customers, who put their trust in us in the recent years.
What we are most proud of is that we've got more new customers than ever before, we've completed more projects and more people joined to our large user community.
Significantly grew our revenue on software sales and technical support as our company expanded its product range with additional excellent products besides MicroStrategy and Jedox, to meet the ever-growing customer requirements. One of our new products is Visual Crossing, which offers a complete mapping solution for Business Intelligence and the other is Exasol, the world's fastest, most scalable, intelligent in-memory analytics database.
As an average, the number of employees has grown proportionally to our revenue, but by the year end we were twice as many as the year before. We successfully put together a team consisting of young professionals and a few "veterans" with decades of experience, who took every obstacle brilliantly. Our company provides continuous training and educational opportunities for every colleague. As a result of the increase in staff, we moved to a more spacious office at Graphisoft Park last year.
But we can’t relax, we have many tasks this year as well. We’ve just started promoting new products and we have many ongoing and new projects. For 2018, we aim even higher and plan further expansion of the company.
