27 March 2020 - An important and outstanding date in our history: Bixpert turned 20!
20 years is a long time for an organisation including numerous challenges, amusing stories, achievements, and naturally lots of difficulties and uncertainties, as well as many clients, successful projects and world-leading technological solutions. How have we come this far? Here is a brief historical overview.
The founders of the company have been working as BI consultants since the introduction of OLAP in Hungary in 1995. Bixpert began its operations in 2000 with merely three members. As proof of their expertise, the company created one of the largest telecommunications Business Intelligence systems of Central and Eastern Europe of the time at Pannon GSM Rt., built on MicroStrategy platform. It was our first major project.
Trusting their knowledge and aspirations, the founders aimed to build a professional consulting company with a potential to become a domestic market leader in Business Intelligence and the related fields (data warehouse design and implementation, analytical CRM, data mining). Over the past 20 years we have grown to be a major reliable actor of the Hungarian BI market. It is clearly proven by the fact that our clients include the largest companies operating in Hungary. The choice of our name is no mere coincidence either: BI eXPERT.
The multiple technical experiences and business expertise of our consultants in various sectors (telecommunications, FMCG, commerce, manufacturing, logistics, etc.) are complemented with punctual, reliable high-quality work and constant learning. We believe that this optimal combination provides the added value that is sought by our clients and that lays the foundation for long years of steady working relationship.
We understand that constant improvement is the only way to our growth and survival. We have accumulated vast knowledge and experience in the past years, with major technological changes taking place simultaneously. We have not lost momentum in the 20 years since our foundation and we keep improving. We will continue to work hard in order to meet expectations and support clients in understanding data for better and faster decision making and improved competitiveness.
