Support Expiration for MicroStrategy 9.4.x and 9.5.x Product Suite

Following the release of MicroStrategy Secure Enterprise version 10, MicroStrategy Technical Support is announcing the scheduled support expiration for products that are part of the MicroStrategy 9.4.x and 9.5.x platform.

 

One year from this notification, MicroStrategy 9.4.x and 9.5.x will have been fully supported for three years. As per  the MicroStrategy Product Expiration Schedule, this length of term is similar to support periods for prior MicroStrategy versions and adheres to MicroStrategy's and other application vendors' policies and procedures.

 

On April 1 2017, MicroStrategy will no longer support inquiries or provide software corrections for the 9.4.x products, their associated components, editions, patches, service packs, and hot fixes.

On January 22 2018, MicroStrategy will no longer support inquiries or provide software corrections for the 9.5.x products, their associated components, editions, patches, service packs, and hot fixes.

MicroStrategy's goals in implementing this expiration are to allow us to focus our efforts toward current and future versions of our products, retool our system resources in order to support the latest and best versions, and increase customer satisfaction by ensuring that our Technical Support personnel are well trained and up to date on the latest MicroStrategy products and technologies.

 

All customers with current maintenance plans are eligible to upgrade to the equivalent MicroStrategy 10 products available via the MicroStrategy Download Site.

  • MicroStrategy upgrade license keys can be requested directly on the MicroStrategy Download Site.
  • Upgrade Questions/Problems- MicroStrategy Technical Support is standing by you to assist with any specific technical questions or problems.
  • Won’t be upgraded in time? Please contact your Account Manager to learn more about available options for extension of technical support services on 9.4.x and 9.5.x versions.
